TEA
What is traditionally known as 'tea' comes from the Camellia Sinensis. By way of different production this same leaf becomes what is well known as black tea, green tea, oolong and white tea.
INFUSIONS
Infusions are the most accepted term for those which do not originate from the Camellia Sinensis, such as Peppermint, Chamomile, Rosehip & Hibiscus.
OTHERS
Rooibos (often called Red Tea) from South Africa is not from the Camellia Sinensis and is often considered an infusion or a category of it's own.
