Dilmah's premium tea range has long been a favorite among Kiwi tea lovers, but our decaf teas are equally exceptional and are gaining popularity, especially as more people seek to adopt a healthier lifestyle with reduced caffeine consumption.

We are excited to announce that our Dilmah Decaf Black Tea now comes in a new and updated pack design. But that's not the only thing that’s great about our decaf tea.

We are proud to say that our natural decaf process sets us apart from other decaf teas out there.

Natural Decaffeination
At Dilmah, we believe in making the world a better place, one cup of tea at a time. We are committed to sustainability and ethical tea production, which is why we use only the finest natural ingredients in our decaf tea. Our tea leaves are carefully selected from our own tea gardens and processed solvent-free decaffeination process called "Carbon Dioxide Method".

The decaffeination process uses Carbon Dioxide (CO2), which is naturally present in the air we breathe, to remove caffeine from the tea leaves and preserve our teas' natural scents, flavours, and goodness.

Not only the C02 is harmless to use, but it can be recycled and reused, making this process contribute nothing to greenhouse gas emissions and be a kind process to the environment. Not only is our decaf tea better for the environment, it's also better for your body. Our natural decaf process ensures that our tea retains its health benefits and antioxidants, making it a great choice for those who want to enjoy the taste of tea with little trace of caffeine in cup.
Make your Decaf Teas a Better Tea
For those who prefer green tea, Dilmah also offers a decaf version that is just as delightful as the original.

Our decaf green tea retains its delicate flavor and aroma, making it a perfect choice for those who love the taste of green tea but want to avoid the caffeine.

And for fans of classic blends, we're thrilled to announce that decaf versions of our popular Earl Grey and English Breakfast teas will be available later this year, so keep an eye out for them!
