Woolworths New Zealand – Win with Everyday Reward promotion with Dilmah Tea

The following terms and conditions template is to be used for Everyday Rewards promotions where the Supplier is the Promoter.

Promotional Period 

The promoter of this promotion is Dilmah NZ, 159 Marua Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland (Promoter). 

The promotion commences 17^th August and closes 13^th September (Promotional Period).

This promotion is open to New Zealand residents who have a registered Everyday Rewards card shopping at Woolworths New Zealand supermarkets owned by Woolworths New Zealand Limited, 80 Favona Road Favona, Auckland 2024 (WWNZ). Please note that employees of Dilmah NZ WWNZ cannot be excluded from Everyday Rewards promotions, including this promotion.

Method of Entry

Customers can enter the promotion, during the Promotional Period by:

Buy any Dilmah pack and swipe your Everyday Rewards Card to enter

Participating products as follows:

Entry is limited to one entry per transaction. Entry date for online purchases is the order delivery date (which must be within the Promotional Period). For the avoidance of doubt, customers will not be eligible to participate in this promotion if they do not swipe their Everyday Rewards card or enter their Everyday Rewards details at the time of purchase.  Entries will not be accepted on a retrospective basis after the time of purchase. 

Entrants must ensure their Everyday Rewards card is registered with complete and up to date account details (including phone number and email address).

The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and may disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions. 

Prize

100 prizes up for grabs: 1 of 100 designer umbrellas plus 1 of 100 x $50 WW gift cards

The Prize will only be delivered in New Zealand.

Prizes will be despatched from 29^th September, once the winners have accepted the prize and confirmed delivery address. 

Non-accepted prizes will be re-drawn

Winner(s)

100 prize winners will be determined by a random electronic draw from all valid entries received in the promotion on 17^th Aug to 13^th Sept. The draw will be conducted by the Woolworths.

The Promoter will contact the winners. The winner will be notified by email using the details listed on their Everyday Rewards account. Once The Promoter receives confirmation from the winner that delivery details are correct and they accept prize, the prizes will then be despatched from 29^th September.

It is up to entrants to ensure that the relevant details on their Everyday Rewards account are correct.  Details can be updated via the website https://account.countdown.co.nz/everyday-rewards  or by phoning the WWNZ Customer Care team on 0800 40 40 40.

In the event a winner cannot be contacted, (that is, cannot be reached by email and/or does not respond to email) within two weeks of the prize draw, a winner will be redrawn on the same terms as the original draw. This process will continue until a winner is able to be contacted.

The winner(s) will have their details published on the Everyday Rewards website/Woolworths NZ website for 30 days following the draw date.  By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to his or her name and/or photograph being used for such publicity purposes as reasonably determined by WWNZ and the Promoter.

Exclusions and Liability

The Promoter and WWNZ will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems.

Neither WWNZ, not the Promoter and its related companies, employees and agencies will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or claiming/winning any prize, or availing themselves of any prize, except as required by law.

The Promoter and WWNZ are not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion.

The Promoter and WWNZ accept no responsibility for any tax implication that may arise from the Prize.  The winner must seek independent financial advice on the taxation implications of the receipt or use of any Prize.

Use of Personal Information

All entries remain the property of WWNZ.  All personal information will be collected and stored by WWNZ in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and WWNZ’s privacy policy which can be viewed here.

WWNZ may use entrants’ personal information from entries to conduct the promotion and for its own future promotional and publicity purposes, in accordance with standard Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions which can be viewed at www.everydayrewards.co.nz.  For the purposes of notifying the winner, Entrants consent to WWNZ passing on their contact details to the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s agency for the purposes of notifying the winner, and any other purpose required to conduct this promotion  and otherwise in accordance with entrants’ consent and applicable privacy laws.  

By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the use of their information as described above.

General Terms and Conditions

The promotion will be conducted by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions.To the extent that any matter relating to the promotion is not covered by these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to conduct the promotion as it sees fit, subject to any legal requirements or vary the terms and conditions as it deems reasonably necessary. 

By entering into this promotion the entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and acknowledges that they have complied with all of their obligations under the Everyday Rewards terms and conditions, which also apply to this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to deem any entry void should an entrant fail to comply with any of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry. The Promoter’s decision is final. 

If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, acts or omissions of third parties, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. 

The Promoter will not be responsible for any delay or failure to deliver, or damage caused to any Prize during transit.

All decisions of the Promoter are final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into. 

Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of their rights under these terms and conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the full extent permitted by law, to vary, suspend or cancel this promotion.

By participating in this promotion, entrants grant a perpetual worldwide non-exclusive royalty-free licence to the Promoter to use and sub-licence the use of any copyright (including future copyright) in and to any entry submitted. To the extent that an entrant has any moral rights in their entry, the entrant hereby provides consent for the Promoter and its licensees to do any act or omission that would otherwise infringe that entrant’s moral rights.  Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that his or her entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any person. 

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
